Refereeing for Northwest Iowa Soccer
As an organization we try not only to promote the playing of the game but the officiating of it as well. Northwest Iowa Soccer Club has approximately 20 certified referees, not only adults but teenagers as well. Each referee has gone through a training class sanctioned through USSF, and is required to re-certify each year. This shows the true dedication of each individual that has chosen to learn the rules and officiate.
Each referee is paid for the games that they officiate depending on the age group.

Craig has been a referee since 2013 and has been a referee instructor since 2018. He holds the U.S. Soccer Grassroots referee status. Craig has refereed games from U6 to U19 as well as Junior college games and has been the referee director for the Galaxy Cup regional soccer tournament for the last three years. In addition to his experience refereering, Craig has coached since 2002 at all rec levels from U6 to U14 and served as assistant coach on the high school team for 2 years.
