Philosophy

The NWISC Academy Program is a training program designed to focus on the developmental needs of those who show heightened interest in soccer. The program is offered for boys and girls ages 6-12.

Objectives/Benefits

1. To provide quality coaching, NWISC staff and curriculum to match players’ ability.
2. To increase player’s confidence and passion through knowledge and skills.
3. The program will promote fun, developmental and educational training sessions for all players.

Coaching

The Academy program offers both a girl’s team and a boy’s team. Coaches are licensed through the US Soccer Federation.

$150 per 10 week session

More Details

• There will be one 10 week fall session and one 10 week spring session with separate registrations.
• Fall 2026 Session begins 9/13/26. Register with link below or on our Northwest Iowa Soccer Club Facebook page.
• Locations of practice offered: Spencer, IA(Northwest Iowa Soccer Club) or Spirit Lake, IA (Bedell Family YMCA)
• Open for both boys and girls.
• Critical and key age groups for development.
• The Academy Program is designed to focus on the developmental needs of those who show heightened interest in soccer.
• Training sessions will focus on developing the fundamentals of soccer (passing, receiving, dribbling, 1v1, and more)
